About

The Amanda Sabelko Music Studio’s purpose is to provide high-quality voice, piano, and instrumental lessons in Southeastern Minnesota.

Amanda is classically trained and has widely studied Italian Opera and European Art Song as well as Broadway and sacred music.  She also has over 30 years of combined experience studying piano, flute, and oboe. She continues to take opportunities to strengthen her own skills through private lessons.  She is currently studying voice under Carla Thelen Hanson. Amanda is also a member of the Rochester Symphony Orchestra Chorale in Rochester, MN.

Amanda obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and Religion-Philosophy in 2011 from the University of Jamestown.  During her time at UJ, Amanda studied voice under LeAnn Villareal, Dr. Richard Walentine, and Dr. Aaron McDermid.  She also studied piano under Dr. William Wojnar and woodwinds with Ben Schneider.

In addition to her private studio, Amanda is also called to serve as a Deacon to St. John’s Lutheran Church of Kasson, MN.

  1. I am interested in Piano and/or flute lessons. I’m am a nurse at St Marys and work rotating shifts. I have a little bit of piano experience and a little bit more flute experience bit neither has been for over 15 years or better.

  2. I am interested in Violin lessons and Rochester is a little to far for us, so I was wondering if you do Violin lessons and if you do for how much it would be.
